During the public consultation concerning the future of the Carlton Theatre some organisations decided to work together in the future sharing marketing, databases and collaborating on projects that bring together different disciplines within the Visual and Performing Arts and attract a bigger audience to our events. T.A.A.G. has been formed to improve communication between artists and art organisations so that the arts in the Teignmouth area can be properly represented and form a stronger body for consultation and furthering the Arts in the area against ever diminishing external support.
We are in the process of looking for funding that might make this possible. Meanwhile we are trying to make sure that no organisation is missed out from being involved.
The Visual and Performance Arts in Teignmouth are entering an exciting stage at the moment with plans for a Multi Purpose Art Centre already under discussion.
