Trail Recycled Art In Landscape www.trail.org.uk
Artist’s Brief 2010 for Wearable Art

The exciting extravaganza of wearable art inspired by TRAIL’s concern for the environment and climate change will take place for a second year in collaboration with the Carlton Theatre, Teignmouth. Fashion and textiles only two aspects of what might be possible as we try to blur the lines between art and garment. Think recycled materials, moving sculpture, walking paintings and projections. Consider incorporating lighting, music, dance and the spoken word into your artwork. TRAIL wants to be surprised and expects the unpredictable.
The 2010 event will take place at The Carlton Theatre in Teignmouth on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2010 and comprise a catwalk show and collaborative performance pieces.
For information on the 2009 event visit www.trail.org.uk and follow the wearable art and link to You Tube.
